Today, after a year of development efforts, Decentral is excited to announce the rollout of new Jaxx Liberty indexing, server and node infrastructure.

As a result of these upgrades, users will benefit from better wallet performance, ability to use heavier wallets for mining purposes, and various other improvements all tied to this new system that we believe is best in class in the industry.

The rollout is expected to take place over the next few weeks, and although we don’t expect this rollout to in any way impact our users, we cannot guarantee that. Should there be any disruption of services, you’ll still be able to access your keys and access the Jaxx Liberty app. The potential worst case scenario is that sending and receiving functions as well as balance calls may be intermittently affected.

Today also marks the last day of Jaxx Classic in terms of the infrastructure that supports sending, receiving and balance calls. For over a year now Jaxx Classic has not been available for download and we’ve been announcing the closure of Jaxx Classic both in-app and through various social media channels. We’ve also been actively directing users to migrate their backup phrases to Jaxx Liberty. Should you still need to do so, here’s the tutorial link jaxx.io/migrate.
