Paper Wallets Introduced In Jaxx Liberty Update 2.2.0

We have just released our latest update for Jaxx Liberty, version 2.2.0, focused on enhancing the experience of Jaxx Liberty. In this blog post, we highlight bug fixes, updates and new features, contained in this release.

New Features Added

Paper Wallets

Have you ever needed to transfer a balance of an actual paper wallet you’ve been keeping in your safe box? Or, perhaps recover a wrongfully sent ETH to an ETC address? What about, having to claim your yet unclaimed Bitcoin Cash(ABC)? All of this is now super easy to do via the newly launched paper wallet option in Jaxx Liberty.

With this new feature you can transfer your assets from the paper wallet to Jaxx Liberty for any digital assets supported within our ecosystem. We’ve created a guide should you require more details on how this feature works.

In-App Update Prompt

In this update, we have launched an in-app update prompt. This new feature will allow us to let you know directly in the Jaxx Liberty app, when a new version of the app is available.

It’s always good practice to update Jaxx Liberty when there’s a new release available. In so doing, you have access to the latest features, updates, performance and bug fixes.

Upgrades

Pair Your Wallet Faster

We refactored the wallet core engine for a smoother experience than ever before. You’ll now be able to pair and restore your wallet faster, and see which wallet is pairing directly on the loading screen.

Fixes

General Bug Fixes

This version includes several bug fixes to enhance the performance of Jaxx Liberty, and provide you with an overall improved experience. A few of these fixes include:

  • added the missing asset ticker next to the balance in the Block Explorer lookup page and Wallet list page;
  • resolved the pricing inconsistencies between the Markets module and the Wallet information page;
  • fixed the myJaxx bug that prevented re-sending of the confirmation email.
